Once when only twenty pages into this, and a second time when the whole thing was done, I staged a dramatic reading of “Indiana Tim and Mississippi Jared and the Aztec Temple of Human Sacrifice” for all of my friends who were written into the comic – Tom, Jared, Mike, and Ari. This involved them sitting in a semi-circle around a table where the comic was laid flat, me kneeling to one side, turning the pages, pointing to panels and loudly acting out each part, sound effects included. I had an audio cassette cued up in a tape deck nearby, ready to play an ugly synthesizer version of the John Williams “Indiana Jones” theme for when I got to the title page.
